Adam James Can’t Handle the Truth!!

I never said that putting Adam James in the closet wasn’t a weird punishment.  I never said it was right, or even that it wasn’t wrong, I merely think that it was not that harsh of a punishment.  In some ways it resembles the treatment of animals yes, but he did not inflict any harm to him.  I am sure James did not suffer the concussion that day, it was probably something that happened long enough ago that Leach felt James was milking it.  In any case, to me, it appears the spoiled brat didn’t want to play football.  I personally think rather than trying to teach him to have heart, Leach should have just cut him.

One of my frat brothers got frostbite while pledging because he was forced to sit in a tub of ice water for 2 hours.  I can’t say that wasn’t retarded, but he didn’t run and tell the school, he went to the doctor, came back, and got drunk.  Now he is a legend.

Mike Leach was fired today by Texas Tech, because he put WR Adam James in an equipment closet for being a pu$$y.  James told the school and his daddy, former NFL player and ESPN analyst Craig James, who told Leach to apologize.  However Leach is a man and he refused to admit that he did anything wrong, all he would admit was that James was a complainer.  Adam’s teammates voiced their support to the media, expressing among other things, that they did not like seeing Adam treated that way, that he was their brother, and that they are better off without Leach.

And they are pu$$ies too, because if they were real men they would have stuck up for their “brother” to the coaches face, when it mattered, not like little girls to the press when it didn’t.   A relatively successful young receiver who use to play for Leach at Texas Tech said his experience with the coach was nothing but positive.  You might know him, his name is Wes Welker of the NE Patriots.  Of course Welker is known for being a hard nose slot receiver who is never afraid of going across the middle, jumps up from hits, and laughs at pain and punishment, so it is hard to compare him to these homo’s.

So Lubbock can thank Adam James for getting the most successful coach in your teams history canned.  They will never again get another Wes Welker, or a Michael Crabtree, and they will never again beat Texas.  Congratulations.

Bowden and Paterno Meet at Nintendo Wii Bowl

In what seems to be a bit of confusion between a couple of old football legends, some prankster sent invitations to both Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden (80 years old), and Penn State head coach Joe Paterno (83 years old), to the Nintendo Wii Bowl at Shady Lanes Retirement Community.

The “Bowl” game turned out to be a rousing game of Wii bowling between Shady Lanes residents.

Paterno and Bowden refused to leave and coached both teams to losses somehow.

Texas Tech Sophomore WR Adam James, and his family, have made claims to the University that Head Coach Mike Leach, placed James in an electrical closet after finding out he had suffered a concussion and could not practice with the team.

I don’t see the use in putting this kid in the closet for getting hurt, but I’m assuming there was more to the exchange than what we’re going to hear from the media. This guy probably won’t lose his job, but this is just going to cause more and more drama in locker rooms around the country.

What’s next, kids tweeting that they had to run too many gassers at practice, and having CNN pick up the story?

I’m officially dubbing today’s college kids, Generation Crybaby.

Ugly Athlete Tournament Round 1 Bracket 4

Much to my surprise Chris Kaman completely dominated monster Greg Oden and extra terrestrial Sam Cassel.  He,  Alexander Ovechkin, and Joahkim Noah have moved on thus far.  

Our final bracket features fat bald sasquatch Kevin Youkilis, the swollen close to bleeding gums, crooked green teeth, and nappy hair of soccer phenom Ronaldinho Gaucho, and the all around discoloration, deformaties, and cold sores of Delonte West.

Note: We appologize to those that wanted to see Serina Williams in this Tourni.  This is official and although we are 98% certain that she is a man, we simply lack the proof.

Urban Meyer To Take ‘Leave of Absence’ **UPDATE**

Florida Gator coach Urban Meyer has decided to step down as head coach of the Gators after their bowl game.  He is siting health concerns as the reason, after being admitted to the hospital for chest pains.

My diagnosis is heartbreak…Heartbreak after what will be the loss of  the love of his life, Tim Tebow, to the NFL.

**UPDATE**

Meyer has reportedly decided to take a leave of absence for the 2010 season.

This may be due to the fact that I sent him an email reminding him that Tebow will be cut from the NFL by 2011.
