Tebow Overhauls Mechanics For Pro-day

Tim Tebow, who has been widely criticized for  his weak arm, long slow throwing motion, and of course experience playing for an offense that does not resemble anything close to something that would work in the NFL, has brought in a slew of QB coaches in a last ditch effort to overhaul his throwing mechanics.  The list includes former NFL offensive coordinator Zeke Bratkowski, Montreal Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman, Arizona State’s new offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone and former NFL head coach Sam Wyche.   According to Tebow it is working, and he will put his new skills on display at Florida’s Pro day.

I have no doubt that this is working…It is raising his stock just enough that some stupid team, seduced by the recent success of the wild-cat, will take a chance on him in the 2nd or 3rd round, and they will end up with a tight end who has never blocked or caught anything other than the words of God.  Unless Dwight Freeney and Albert Hansworth are at the pro-day to chase Timmy around it will mean nothing.

If he is going to be consulting anyone, it should be the likes of former Gonzaga standout and 2006’s #3 overall NBA draft pick Adam Morrison, to see how he dealt with being drafted way to early for being the face of college basketball, with a big name, but no professional game.

Urban Meyer was obviously hungry for new recruits to fill the void left in his heart by Tim Tebow.  If you are wondering where a recruit went, they went to Florida, if they didn’t go there, they went to Texas.  Together they took 32 of the top 150, and 6 of the top ten, to combine for the two best recruiting classes ever, or at least since we started measuring in 2006.

Tebow’s Super Bowl Ad-vise

Tim Tebow will be featured in a 30 second ad during the superbowl, where he and his mother will tell the story leading up to a birth that allowed for a career that we probably won’t hear much about after draft day.  The story will talk of his mother’s decision to keep her unborn son Tim, after becoming so seriously ill, on a mission in the Phillippines, that doctors advised an abortion.

I personally couldn’t agree more with the Tebow’s stance on abortion.   I would expect any intelligent women to put both the life of their unborn child as well as their own at risk, and frankly they should know better than to listen to the silly advice given to them by someone who has gone to school for 9 years to study medicine, has practiced medicine, and became a medical professional.  Furthermore if a financially stable women, who has already had 4 children, and volunteers her time to take care of people can raise a child, than anyone can.

Those of you who do not have the support of the father, or are poor, or have not and will not graduate high school, or were impregnated by the stranger who raped you, or have no desire to have a child whom you will only alleviate your resentment on causing irreparable damage to their psyche, or all of the above, are just making excuses.
