The Ohio State Buckeyes won their 6th straight against former  rival MichiGone.  Unfortunately for the Buckeyes the win means nothing in the national picture, because Rich Rodriguez has turned the Wolverines into a punching bag.

The Buckeyes can celebrate beating their hated rivals again, and potentially implanting Catoptrophobia (fear of mirrors) into QB Tate Forcia’s head.  That loser may never, and should never be able to look at himself again, after throwing 4 interceptions, and fumbling in the end-zone, in a game that means so much to the team.

Here is the official Ohio State 1954 throwback jersey offered on the Nike website commemorating the 54 championship team that the Buckeyes will wear this coming Saturday in Ann Arbor. It still looks nothing like the 54 jerseys, but it’s better than the previous photo we posted.

No matter what, the Buckeyes will stomp the Wolverines, and are headed to the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1997.

For The Record: The USC Trojans will most likely be playing in the Brut Sun Bowl. I have no idea where that is and that makes me giddy like a kid on Christmas morning.

Ohio State to Wear 1954 “Throwback” Jerseys; Tribute to 1954 Championship Team

Nike has somehow swindled the Buckeyes into wearing this ugly futuristic “throwback” jersey for the Michigan game at the end of November. The jersey is intended to be a tribute to the 1954 Championship team. Unfortunately, this jersey looks nothing like the jerseys from 1954.

Here’s a photo of Howard “Hopalong” Cassidy from the 1954 team.( He was the winner of the Heisman that year.)

Maybe if Nike just sent some Oregon jerseys instead, the Buckeyes could finally win a big game.

LeBron Trades Braylon Edwards to Jets

It seems as though Braylon Edwards’ fight with one of Lebron’s “kids” has earned him a trade to the 3-1 Jets. A far cry from the winless Browns.

Cleveland will receive special-teams player Jason Trusnik, wide receiver Chansi Stuckey and a pair of draft picks for the troubled Edwards. LeBron’s kid gets his pride back.

USC Back Can’t Stay Off His Knees

[This was 4th and goal from the 1, if you can remember.]

I am not saying OSU should have won because of the evidence in this picture.  This would have, more than likely, resulted in Tressel calling some running play designed in the 80’s, which would have been stuffed back into the end zone.  OSU should have won because Mark Sanchez and 8 defensive starters did not return and the Trojans suck.

Note: I bet Tressel doesn’t even go for it on 4th down in video games.

Additional Note: I bet he also got hung from his locker by his underwear in high school, by someone like Pete Carroll.

I Have No Marbles

At any USC football game you will catch chants of “big balls Pete” every time he goes for it on 4th down, something he did three times against the Buckeyes tonight.  He is confident with his team, and because of that he is willing to be aggressive and take chances.

On the other end of the spectrum, would be small vagina Jim, who has no balls.  It is one thing to be conservative and to have faith in your defense, it is another thing to be gutless on offense.  His play calling is weak, and his game plans are tired.  The Buckeyes scare no one, despite having the most dangerous player on any field.  Tress clung to a 5 point lead, when his team needed a score. He had great field position and an opportunity to be aggressive and win, instead he chose to be conservative in trying not to lose.

So this one’s for you Mr. I don’t blitz, Mr. 3 and out, Mr. I don’t make adjustments even if what I am doing is not working.

Your defense balled, you won the battle for field position, and you did nothing with either, but I am sure your fans and players really appreciate never getting to celebrate.
