While LeBron James, Dawayne Wade, Chris Bosh, and Carlos Boozer dominate the headlines during this free agency frenzy, there are a slew of other players also looking for a place to call home this summer. Let’s take a look at “the other free agents”.

The Majority of the Boston Celtics- With the exception of Rondo, KG, Big Baby, and Perkins, virtually all of the Celtics are up for sale. Most notably, the Celtics mascot, Brian Scalabrine.

Scalabrine has more Finals experience than LeBron, Chris Bosh, and Chris Paul COMBINED. Always a sharp dresser, he’s sure to be a viable option to carry towels for any club looking to create diversity on their team. As the whitest guy in the NBA (besides Jason Kidd), Scalabrine brings that sense of throwback basketball with slow transition defense and anti-slasher offense.

In what has been released from the first interview with Lebron James since the Cavs second round elimination,  Larry King asked King James if the Cleveland Cavaliers have an “edge going in.”

Absolutely,  James replied.  Because, you know, this city, these fans, I mean, have given me a lot in these seven years. And, you know, for me, it’s comfortable. So I’ve got a lot of memories here. And so it does have an edge.

He has admitted he is still far from a decision and for all we know he goes on to say why other teams edge out Cleveland, so this probably does not mean much, but it is the first ray of hope for a city that has nothing else.

A source close to FTR has also recently reported that Sandro Varejao, partial agent along with Dan Fegan and brother of Cavs center Anderson Varejao, explained that he and many others within the industry strongly believe Lebron will stay put and build his empire in Cleveland.

Furthermore, my peep stones and taro cards told me he was leaning towards a return to his homeland, and the moon’s current alignment with the other planets also has concurring indications

Being in Southern California, I’m subjected to a lot of LA Clippers coverage, and may be secretly brainwashed by their announcers into thinking this team is talented. At one point in January the Clippers beat the Lakers, Blazers, and Heat in a one week stretch. Then again, they have losing skids of 4 games twice since then.

Tonight every other game in the NBA was finished, so watching the Clippers try to hang with the Utah Jazz was my only option, and the only way to stay interested in two teams that I know cannot win the title this season, I bet on the Clippers not to get beat by more than 6 points (play money of course, because gambling is not legal).

Memphis Beats Clippers After Bogus Fire Alarm Stunt

Anyone who watched the first 3 quarters of the LA Clippers at Memphis tonight will tell you that the Clippers dominated the Grizzlies up and down the court for those 3 quarters. Mysteriously, at the end of the 3rd quarter, with the Clippers up 11 points, a fire alarm went off at FedExForum in Memphis, clearing the players from the court and the fans from the venue.

Once play resumed, Memphis proceeded to score 25 points to the Clippers measly 12.

Now I’m not saying Marc Gasol pulled the fire alarm himself or anything, but this smells fishier than a Jersey Shore bikini contest.

Blake Griffin’s Broken Kneecap Solidifies Him As Clipper Material

Good thing there are only like 5 Clippers fans in LA, because Blake Griffin, the “future” of one of the worst franchises in the NBA, will be out for 6 weeks or so with a broken kneecap he suffered in a worthless preseason game.
