I realize that hitters have all sorts of wacky routines to help them with their timing. I have no problem with Gary Sheffield flailing like Michael J. Fox when he swings, that is obviously something that has always worked for him.
I just don’t see how BJ Upton’s batting coach can let him continue to slide in the wrong direction because of his retarded swing. The kid is the strongest most athletic person on most fields, but there is no way anyone on the planet can catch up with a major league fastball while doing his gay little toe tap in the middle of a swing.

Scott Kazmir has been an A.L. East monster the past 4 years, always hammering away at the Yankees and Red Sox, and it looks like the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of San Bernardino County of Guadalupe Mexico have taken notice.
Scott Kazmir was traded from Tampa to the A.L. West Division leaders on Friday for 3 minor leaguers. Tampa has been shopping Kazmir for awhile, in hopes of getting more unknown young talent to creep up the ladder again in the East. The Angels starting rotation has been atrocious this season, but fortunately they bat against garbage pitchers out west most of the season, and have managed to outscore everyone in Major League Baseball.
