After deciding to wave good bye to brash, Hispanic manager Ozzie Guillen, the White Sox have signed his replacement, former all-star third basement Robin Ventura, to a multi-year deal. Ventura was hired by the Sox last year as a special adviser to director of player development Buddy Bell. Ventura played for the New York Mets, New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers, but spent a majority of his 16 year career playing for the Sox.
