2012 London Olympics Set to Have Largest McDonald’s Ever?

McDonald’s announced this week that they plan to build a 32,000 sq ft location in Olympic Park for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. The location will have 1,500 seats according to The Associated Press, but that’s loosely based on the metric system, which translates to around 750 American tourists.

McDonald’s plans on serving over 1.75 million people at the 2012 Olympics, and in an attempt to mask the fact that they might be the leading cause of most of the world’s obesity problems, McDonald’s will be unveiling several nutritional education initiatives aimed at kids who won’t give a damn, and will just be trying to get their hands on those delicious fries.

As if that’s not enough, this two-story location is only one of 4 planned for site, including one in the athletes’ village.

Nothing like running the hurdles after a nice greasy Big Mac.
