Syracuse was the only elite team to earn their medal last week, with choke jobs coming from Kansas, Kentucky, and Purdue.  Those of you who thought the guard play and big men of Nova were the blueprint for your bracket champion, can just hand over your money, and let the commissioner of your tournament kick you in the nuts, because they cannot play effectively against a good defense.

That said, Cuse’s defense is  impenetrable.  I was amazed watching them play Nova, there is no way through their zone.  It’s like a force field.  Bobby Knight told ESPN, “coach Jim Boeheim has taught them the zone as well as it can be taught.”  They turn baskets hetero [out hole only].  They put a roof on dunkers, double shooters, and even block out freaky girls with wandering fingers.  They are the number 1 team and deserve it.

If they top your bracket come March I would not blame you
