Bill Simmons and ESPN are Officially Retarded

Everyone’s talking about Tiger Wood’s “comeback”.

But, what exactly is Tiger Woods coming back from? Banging beat VIP hosts and washed up pornstars? Sex rehab therapy sessions, and begging for his wife not to take all his money?

Tiger Woods did not jump from a fiery plane like Travis Barker and DJ AM. He wasn’t hit by a drunk Donte Stallworth crossing a street. He also did not shoot himself in the leg and go to prison for it. This is not a “comeback” this is his inevitable return to the sport he has dominated for more than a decade.

Tiger Woods should never be compared to Muhammad Ali’s comeback from his boxing exile, and Bill Simmons should stick to writing novellas about double play wet dreams at Fenway, and recalling teary-eyed memories of the days when the Boston Celtics returned to the limelight for one season.
