NFL Combine Will Have No Physical Activities

After Tim Tebow and Colt McCoy announced that they would not be throwing at the NFL combine at the end of this month, Cincinnati QB Tony Pike revealed he will not run, Stanford RB Toby Gerhart will not hit any pads, Florida LB Brandon Spikes will not tackle anything, and none of Miami’s players will steal things from the locker room.

The NFL claims this will not have an adverse effect on the scouts’ ability to rate the draft hopefuls’ talents, because teams like the Raiders and owner Al Davis use a Bingo basket and balls to choose their picks anyway.
