Urban Meyer was obviously hungry for new recruits to fill the void left in his heart by Tim Tebow. If you are wondering where a recruit went, they went to Florida, if they didn’t go there, they went to Texas. Together they took 32 of the top 150, and 6 of the top ten, to combine for the two best recruiting classes ever, or at least since we started measuring in 2006.
USC was not far behind and could actually end up #1. For some reason people still want to play for Lane Kiffin and USC, even though he is a joke and a scumbag, and the school is too stupid to cover their tracks when paying for players, which will more than likely lead to the school forfeiting a chance at a bowl game. Despite what people think, however, the nations #2 recruit, OT Seantrel Henderson, will not sign with the Trojans until after the NCAA infractions committee hearing, as possible sanctions have given him second thoughts.
Florida State made a nice little splash for FSU, especially considering they were competing against their neighbor Gatordile Dundee. I might have to retract all that bad stuff I said about Jimbo Fisher, but I will wait because, in case you haven’t noticed, I am never wrong.
Alabama did outstanding, again, with a class highlighted by five star DB DaMarcus Milliner. This is no surprise, considering they just won the national championship, but it is surprising considering the amount of talent they have returning.
Honorable mention go to:
#3 Auburn
#6 LSU
#8 UCLA
#9 Tennessee
