So Long Kurt

Kurt Warner has decided to hang up his scrubs, put away his mask and hat, and set down his scalpel for the last time, putting an early end to what has been an amazing, hall of fame worthy, career.  I will always look at Kurt Warner as more of a surgeon  then a quarterback.  He didn’t have the leg speed of a Donovan McNabb, or the elusiveness of a Tom Brady, so he just stood in the pocket and took whatever teams could muster, while he sat back and dissected and carved up their defenses.

He was a 2 time MVP, and has been to three Super Bowls, he played well enough in all of them to earn victories, but was only able to get a W in one.   I like to think that he won two, considering the Patriots are cheaters and had to video tape the Rams practice in order to squeak by them on a last second field goal, but I guess that is what it takes to stop Kurt Warner.

We all know he can still play at the highest of levels, he proved that in his 51-45 arial attack over the Packers in the playoffs, but he is retiring with his legendary story, legacy, and legs, arms, and noodle still intact.

Enjoy your life and family, you deserve it.
