Inside sources (aka my common sense) say that USC’s Pete Carroll is pulling a Tim Floyd and fleeing the scene of scandal in LA as investigations are getting more intense around the football team’s improper benefits rumors. The Reggie Bush scandal has been drawn out forever, and with new drama surrounding future NFL draft pick Joe McKnight it is said that Pete Carroll has all but inked a deal that would put him in charge of the Seattle Seahawks.
ESPN has been reporting nothing but speculation all day, but it’s obvious that Carroll does not want to be around once the NCAA hands down punishments for USC’s football program.
Good luck in Seattle Pete. Too bad now you have to really pay your players, and recruiting means nothing in the NFL. See you on Monday Night Football commentating in about 3 years.

Nah man… Carroll is gonna do great up here. Its the perfect system for him. As long as we use one of our two if not both of our high first round draft picks for stud O linemen, we’ll be good… Well… Better…
I bet the NCAA told him they're gonna be coming after football wins, and he wants to get out of Dodge before the heat comes down on them.
This is the 2nd coach at the top of his college game to do this within the last half year. Calipari did it to Memphis and now Pete to USC. I'm not a fan of USC anyway, but to know that the athletes there now, and the future athletes are going to have to suffer because of oversights or just turning the other cheek. What happened to Calipari? He got a raise to go to UK. What happens to PC? He becomes wealthy now and has the keys to the Seahawk kingdom handed to him. Both committed fraud, neither one will be punished. Whatta joke!!!
Michael,
you are 100% right. I am a USC graduate and fan but it does not change the facts. The only person lower than Carroll is Garrett who lucked out by hiring him or we would have got rid of his sorry ass a long time ago. I cannot stand these hypocrits.
