The Boise State Broncos managed to go 14-0 this season, becoming only the second school in history, behind 2002 National Champion The Ohio State Buckeyes, to win 14 games in a season.
The Broncos beat an undefeated TCU team that pressed hard for a title shot alongside the Broncos all season long.
Boise State also defeated eventual Rose Bowl loser, Oregon, posing the question, did Boise State deserve a national title shot?
No.
While Boise State beat teams like Idaho, La Tech, Hawaii, and UC Davis…. teams like Texas and Alabama played teams like Oklahoma, Florida, Nebraska, and Georgia. Until Boise State either changes conferences, or plays a completely ridiculous out of conference schedule like Notre Dame, they will never jump an undefeated Texas or Alabama.
It’s nice to see them win a BCS Bowl game, but let’s stop wasting our time debating their ranking every time they destroy the WAC.
This guy gets it.

No one will play Boise. Its like fighting a gay guy. If you win you get either no credit or looked at like your picking on gay dudes, and if you lose then you just got beat up by a gay.
