There was not a analyst out there that picked Alabama to win this game, and not only did they win, they made Tim Tebow cry. They demoralized the Gators on both sides of the ball. Nick Saban’s pro-style system put up a 32-13 beat down on Urban’s spread.
In one game the Tide not only cemented their place into the National Championship game, they took the history books from Tim Tebow. They took his third title, they took his 2nd Heisman, they took his manhood.
Everyone’s confidence that Tebow was destined for the promised land, coupled with his intensity for showing us all what a good guy he is, made it only natural for us to root for his failure, and I couldn’t be happier that his legacy will now be right about up there with Matt Leinart’s.
For all players thinking of returning for their senior season just remember WWMSD. What Would Mark Sanchez Do?
