3 Seasons ago, NBA analysts predicted that the Boston Celtics, with new stars, KG and Jesus Shuttlesworth, were mortgaging their future for 3-4 years of possible greatness. No one argued then, but with the 5 year extension signing of 23 year old PG Rajon Rondo, the emergence of Glenn “Big Baby” Davis also 23, 24 year old big man Kendrick Perkins, and Duke superstar, Shelden Williams playing big off the bench, it looks more like the Celtics are setup for a Dynasty run for long than was expected.
With the Cleveland LeBrons, Orlando Magic, and Los Angeles Lakers as the only teams that seem to have a shot at contending with the Celtics, this could be a big signing for Boston fans who might be watching their beloved Red Sox moving into the shadows of NY again.
