Nike has somehow swindled the Buckeyes into wearing this ugly futuristic “throwback” jersey for the Michigan game at the end of November. The jersey is intended to be a tribute to the 1954 Championship team. Unfortunately, this jersey looks nothing like the jerseys from 1954.
Here’s a photo of Howard “Hopalong” Cassidy from the 1954 team.( He was the winner of the Heisman that year.)
Maybe if Nike just sent some Oregon jerseys instead, the Buckeyes could finally win a big game.

Whatever, get a life. Go Bucks!
Come on girls; why let Nike get away with crap when the original '54 jersey is the real deal…and just think of the publicity if OSU not LSU actually won a championship wearing the 'real deal' along the way….bring back Hopalong Cassady and the real deal jersey…that's my opinion, and it 'oughtabe' yours.
