Grizzles Don’t Extend Gay

The Memphis Grizzles and forward Rudy Gay were unable to reach an agreement on an extention. He will become a restricted free agent at the end of this season. It has been reported that he was offered 50 million over 5 years.

He now joins the likes of these individuals in the 2010-11 free agent class, to name a few.

LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Amar’e Stoudemire,

Dirk Nowitzki, Paul Pierce, Yao Ming, Mike Redd,

Tyson Chandler, Joe Johnson, Ray Allen, Manu Ginobili,

Marcus Camby, Jermaine O’Neal, Mike Miller,

Shaquille O’Neal, Carlos Boozer.

Did I also mention the salary cap will also be decreased.

They should just rename the NBA Prison, or West Hollywood because there is going to be a huge demand for Gay….

He will most likely be traded at some point this season and signed to a contract similar to the offer he just received, maybe less.

It is like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is fantastic blog. An excellent read. I will certainly be back.
