After being blown out 11-0 in game 3 of the NLCS, the Dodgers responded in game 4 with a blown save in the ninth. Their shut down closer Jonathan Broxton walked pinch hitter Matt Stairs on four pitches, then hit Carlos Ruiz, recorded an out, and gave up a walk-off triple to Jimmy Rollins. The Dodgers lost 5-4.
I think that was a dagger. I wouldn’t expect another win.
