SF Giants Attempt To Raise Team ERA***Update

There has been talk in the MLB of adding another wildcard from each league, but I think it’s obvious they should just take the best 3 AL East teams.

I have watched Brad Penny sweat and wheeze his way through games all year, like he was Bill Plaschke getting up from his chair.  Now, after a trade to the NL he threw 3 more innings and let up 5 less runs than I have seen him at any time this season.

The AL East teams are on another level.  In fact it’s borderline unfair that they have to spend the entire season kicking the crap out of each other.
