Preseason Rankings Are a Joke

The College Football preseason rankings have been released. The Florida Gators received all but 2 first place votes this season, making them the largest favorites in AP poll history.

Last season, Georgia was the preseason #1, and went on to lose 3 games, with one of those losses coming at home to Georgia Tech. Utah also wasn’t ranked preseason last year, but finished undefeated and #2.

So basically, these rankings are about as accurate as using the 1808 Farmer’s Almanac to predict tomorrow’s weather.
